Our Review of the Graco TurboBooster Backless booster seat
The Graco Cricket is a backless belt-positioning booster - basically, it's the safe and comfortable version of sitting on a phonebook. It's made for kids who are too big for their booster seat, but who still need a "boost" for the vehicle's shoulder belt to be worn safely. Features include retractable cup holders, a machine-washable seat pad, and adjustable padded armrests.
This is a very minimal seat, great for kids who are almost ready to ride without a booster seat, and for kids who don't like to feel like they're riding in a "baby seat" with a back and head rest.

Ok, $20, great price, seems simple enough. Great cup holders, easy to clean. Not much to a booster, so I thought. The negative is... well, you get what you pay for. Any trip of 1 hour or more and my kids complained on this seat as its not very padded. It seems padded to the touch, but not when you sit on it for hours. We would not have made it on a long road trip. We now have a Olli booster seat by CLEK and its phenomenal, even latches in so it stays still. A world of difference in comfort and craftmanship. I know... its only a booster, but, it's also my child and well... They're worth it. Short easy trips, this one is fine. Long road trips, not satisfactory.

Affordable and comfortable

Our son is 6 years old but not tall enough to sit in the shoulder belt. We have one for each car since they are affordable. I love the double cup holders. It doesn't matter which side of the car he is on he still has one accessible. The seat is comfortable and it's easy for him to buckle himself in which he likes.
