Our Review of the Schwinn Mark I bike trailer

The Schwinn Mark I is made from a lightweight powder coated steel, which provides a measure of durability and rust resistance as well as making this child's bike trailer easy to pull or push. A unique universal coupler allows you to attach and detach quickly and simply to any bicycle. This trailer converts into a stroller in seconds; just snap on the third wheel and screw in the handlebar with the included side rear knobs. The 20" pneumatic tires are protected by an overlapping sidebar connected to the frame and detach easily with a quick release mechanism. With an extra wide design, there is definitely enough room for two children-up to 100 lbs total-or more than enough room for groceries and packages. A plastic weather shield protects your cargo from the elements, whatever it may be.

At 34 lbs. the entire Mark I bicycle trailer is a full five pounds heavier than the aluminum alloy Mark II and Mark III. If that's a consideration, be sure to look into those options as well. Finally, the Schwinn Mark I bicycle trailer, like all Schwinn's trailers, is backed up by a 5-year limited warranty.

We have quadruplets and were very stressed about having to buy 2 trailers. The customer service rep. at Bicycle Trailers was wonderful and helped us find trailers within our budget without sacrificing quality (and they were shipped to us right away). Schwinn to Win!

This was our second trailer. The first one was Safety First and it royally sucked. Schwinn has made it so easy to assemble, fold up to fit every where! You glide like you are not towing any weight at all expect for my kids (75 lbs combined). Buy it - you will love it and be eager to get out on your bikes every day!
