Brilliant Baby carrier / Have twins ? Get two and

Amazing product !!! IF YOU HAVE TWINS ... 2 of these make the perfect Twin Carrier !!! I LOVE it and have been walking around carrying both my babies since they've been 3 weeks (8 & 7 lbs) old and it works great for us. I do adjust it at home when empty every few weeks so it's ready to go when we are. The features I find especially great are: 1. Sturdy design keeps baby cozy, comfortable & secure. 2. Very comfortable as both shoulder & waist straps are well padded. In fact the carrier is designed for most of babies weight to be carried by the belt rather than your back & shoulders. 2. Hidden support inside the carrier ensures baby is held securely and not wobbling all over. 3. Grows with baby: Seat cushion removable / leg openings have 2 sizes / headrest can be lengthened to create arm openings / newborn hood to keep baby's head snug can be folded and then removed when baby can hold his head. 4. Should a buckle come loose, carrier won't fall open as they are threaded through safety loops. 5. A single carrier can be used in left or right side position, in front and you can also nurse baby discreetly. You can change to any of these positions without removing baby from carrier because the base of the carrier slides on the belt.

I've tried 4 different types of carriers and this is the only one that my 8 month old enjoys and my back can handle. She is not a little baby anymore (all 18lbs) and with my sciatica I have to be very careful to make sure that my back is not strained. This gives me an opportunity to switch her from side to side to front. *** It takes about 4-6 attempts to get the straps adjusted in a right correct way - it's worth it!

We bought 2 of these for our now 4 month old twins. In the beginning we tried this carrier in every way possible, read the directions 12 times, and still felt uncomfortable. We figured the problem was because of our babies' sizes (6 lbs), and thought we'd just wait. Well, they're 10-15 lbs. now and still no luck. Here's why I wish I could still return them (sorry I was told, no returns past 30 days): 1)Unless you put the waist strap around your rib-cage the baby sits way low and their head us on your stomach. 2) The material is really rough and chaffed our babies' faces. 3)With only one strap it was impossible to distribute the weight evenly and one shoulder always hurt. 4) The multitude of adjustments seemed like a great idea, but ask yourself how much time you'll have trying to shuffle one (or two) babies out of a car or whatever while also making 37 adjustments. Maybe works for others, but I'm going to try to sell mine on e-bay I guess.

Comments from The Staff:

Hi Tanya. I'm sorry you had a frustrating experience with this carrier. The video CD included with each carrier is the best way to learn how to properly fit your carrier. To ensure that shoulder straps are positioned properly, the rubber labels located on each side of the neck strap must be positioned evenly on either side of the neck, level with your clavicle bone. Also, the honeycomb lining throughout the carrier is really soft, so your baby shouldn't have experienced any chafing. At childcarriers.com, we stress that the key to carrying your child comfortably is making sure whichever carrier you chose is fitted correctly. It takes some time and adjusting at first, but will be well worth it. Once the carrier is properly fitted to your body, it should not require ongoing adjustments.

This carrier has everything and my daughter loves it! We've had it since she was born - she's now 6 mths old. I tried to wear the other one we got as a gift but I just didn't fit... I also feel safer on stairs cuz I see my feet! This is the BEST money I've spent in a while. AND my husband loves wearing it too!

I love this baby carrier! I am using it with my 14 month old son. I can get so much more done now that he is literally attached to my hip and can see what I am doing and I have hands free. My husband loves it because he can carry our son on either side and not get kicked 'where it counts'. This really came in handy when he was sick this winter and wanted to be held all the time. My Dad even used it with my son over Christmas and he loved being able to carry his first grandson all over the yard exploring. Keep in mind my Dad is 6'3" and 250 lbs. or so. I am not sure if any other carrier would fit him. I just wish I had this when I was nursing, it would have been so convenient and I am sure would have helped my back. I like the sash design so there's no weight on the breasts. I'll be using this for #2 as well!
