Our Review of the Radio Flyer Twist Trike
With the Radio Flyer Twist Trike, you're really getting two trikes for the price of one. The first option is regular trike mode; the second is "Big Wheel" style chopper mode. Besides being a lot of fun, the Twist Trike is also a tricycle that can grow with your child. The adjustable seat back assures that children between the ages of two and seven years old can have fun with this trike for years.

There really isn't an idea like this out there for any other brand of tricycle. The Schwinn Roadster is a comparable tricycle in style and is certainly more durable?it's made of steel?but only the Twist Trike has this two-trikes-in-one feature.

My daughter received the pink twist trike two years ago for Christmas and has loved every minute on it. We started out with the trike as a tricycle and now that she has gotten bigger, we flipped the trike over to the big wheel and she spent all summer racing down the driveway and spinning out like the old big wheels of the '70s.
When I first saw the price, I wasn't sure about it, but when I thought about how much I would spend on a tricycle and then a big wheel a year later, I came out better with the twist trike. As with any Radio Flyer product it is very durable and solid. In fact, the twist trike is sturdier than the big wheels that are being made today.
My daughter was the first on her street to own a twist trike and since this spring, four friends have purchased twist trikes for their daughters. They love them and I can't think of another toy that my daughter has enjoyed as much as her twist trike.
I believe the pink model is being phased out, but the primary color twist trike is just as good, but unfortunately less girly.
