Our Review of the InSTEP Take 2 Double bike trailer

The Take 2 Double Trailer is the most affordable double trailer in InSTEP's 2010 lineup. The low price of the Take 2 reflects its simplistic style and basic features, but is not a representation of its quality. This child bike trailer is easy to assemble, and as the name suggests, holds 2 children with a total weight capacity of 100 lbs.

The Take 2 features 16-inch air-filled tires and weighs only 25 lbs, which makes for easy handling on paved roads and sidewalks, and is InSTEP's most affordable double child trailer.

With an easy to fold frame and quick release wheels the InSTEP Take 2 folds compactly for convenient storage in tight spaces. It comes with a versatile coupler, which fits most bikes and attaches quickly to the bicycle's rear axle. The trailer itself is super easy to assemble and does not require any tools!

Installation: Install the versatile coupler to the rear axle of your bike. For quick-release axles, this requires no tools. For standard axles with rear hub nuts, you'll need a wrench. Once that is in place, attach the included tow arm to the coupler, and away you go!

Benefits for Baby: The InSTEP Take 2 accommodates up to two children and 100 lbs. Whether one or two kids in tow, your precious passenger(s) will ride snug and secure in their sling-style seats with a 5-point safety harness.
