Our Review of the Bumbo Booster Seat
The comfy, lightweight Bumbo Seat is designed like no other booster, and it's a great alternative to a traditional high chair. The Bumbo baby seat's unique shape props a child to an upright sitting position, providing trunk control and lumbar support while securing the legs, to keep baby from sliding forward. No straps or fasteners are needed - the seat itself does all the work! Bumbo is amazing!!!!

The Bumbo and tray are amazing my daughter has been using it since she was almost three months old and now at six months loves it even more. She likes to sit on the floor with me while I fold laundry and watch the Wonder Pets!!! Well worth the money and my nephew at 1 1/2 sits in it when he comes over and loves it too ;) Great buy I would hand down recommend the Bumbo and tray to anyone with a little one. It's very easy to use during feedings, play time, and travels very well. Can't say enough about it!

Have Serious Reservations

While it's a pretty nice idea and it helps include your little one so they may take part and sit w/o assistance (Christmas morning) there are some babies who can get out of this thing. Even if it's on a floor, they can still fall out and hurt themselves. You should watch your baby in this thing at ALL times! Also, it's too expensive for the amount of time you can use it.

MY 4 YEAR OLD HAS CEREBRAL PALSY. HER MUSCLES ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH FOR HER TO SIT UP. BUT WE CAN PUT HER IN THE BUMBO SEAT AND SIT HER ON THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF THE COUCH AND LET HER PLAY WITH HER SISTERS. WE LOVE IT.

I Love the seat, but I don't love the cost. I really recommend looking in second hand baby stores before you purchase one at full price. If you're gonna buy one at full price test out a friends first to see if your baby is content while sitting in it. Otherwise its great to take on trips to use for feedings and wonderful while you're cleaning. I stick it on the kitchen table, put my son in it, and clean away. I highly recommend the attachable tray!

Borrow one before you Buy!

I agree with others that it is kind of costly for the short amount of time you can use it. Although I've heard of others using it as a Booster Seat at the table for older kids, my 4 month old's legs barely fit in the leg holes now (maybe they'll fit better after he loses some baby fat)! My son will tolerate it for about 5 minutes and then wants out. I'd have to say "save your money" - you won't get enough use out of it to justify spending the $40. Some babies may love it, but I'd suggest borrowing a friends before you buy one.

this chair was a life saver before our baby was big enough for a highchair. very durable, versitle and easy to clean. it also helped our little one sit up when she was so frustrated we could and she couldn't. great booster seat when eating out too! just watch out once your baby figures out how to wiggle their way out of the Bumbo. it is a little pricey but overall a great buy.

The Bumbo is great for that short time when they can't sit up on their own but really want to be a part of the action. However, by the time they can sit up on their own they've outgrown it. My daughter always wants to move and play so being "trapped" in the seat just isn't for her! If it was less expensive it might be worth it's short span of usefulness.

Great little seat

I really like this little seat. My son being a preemie is a little delayed. It was nice to be able to sit him up straight. The only draw back is that he does have chubby thighs which would get stuck as I lift him out.
